This workshop will go over the tools available for accessibility testing, including Lighthouse, AXE, and WAVE, go over an ideal and effective accessible development process, provide an overview of ARIA best practices and effective use of the accessibility tree in the browser developer tools, provide a demonstration of effective screen reader use with NVDA, and how Playwright can be re-worked to capture accessibility in UI and integration testing.

Having previously worked in the public sector, her day to day now involves improving the user experience and accessibility of data on the web.
